Complex ideas, simply explained.
Researched, scripted and animated videos that explain super, rates, tax and markets to your clients. Every figure is sourced and every script is ready for your licensee's review.

- Your branding, not ours
Why advisers use Plain Figures
Your clients have questions. You don't have time to film the answers.
on camera or in editing
No filming, no scripting at 10pm, no learning video software. You approve a script and get back a finished video.
with every video
Every figure is traced to the ABS, RBA, ASIC, APRA or ATO, so you and your licensee can check any claim in minutes.
from approval to delivery
Fast enough to respond to a rate decision or a Budget announcement while your clients are still asking about it.
Examples
The numbers your clients care about, made clear.
Every video is built around a few clear moments like these, animated from sourced data and written as general information.
Money you can see
Time you can see
Ideas that flow
These sample animations use illustrative figures, with the assumptions shown on screen. Client videos are 60 seconds to 4 minutes, narrated and captioned, and use current figures from primary sources.
Your brand, not ours
Every video looks like it came from your practice.
Your colours, your logo, your name on screen and your call to action at the end. Try it: pick a style or enter your own brand colour.
Built for a regulated industry
Content your licensee can approve without a rewrite.
A general video agency makes things look good. Plain Figures also makes sure they're accurate, sourced and framed correctly before they reach your compliance team.
Primary sources, listed
Figures come from the ABS, RBA, ASIC, APRA and ATO. A full source list is delivered with every video.
General information framing
Scripts are written as general information with an appropriate disclaimer. They never recommend a product or give personal advice.
Script approval first
You and your licensee approve the script before production starts, so there are no surprises in the finished video.
A person checks every figure
Production is partly automated, which keeps prices fair. Every number is still checked against its source by a person before delivery.
How it works

About
Helping good advisers be understood by more people.
I spent years researching and producing Australian personal-finance content, and kept noticing the same thing: the numbers that matter most to people, like what a fee costs over 20 years or what a rate change means for their loan, are rarely explained clearly.
Advisers are best placed to fix that, but good video is slow, expensive and carries compliance risk. So I built a production process that handles the research, scripting and animation, with a person checking every figure.
I'm not a financial adviser, and the videos never give advice. My job is to make what you already explain to clients clearer and easier to share.
Questions
What advisers usually ask.
Will this work with my licensee's compliance process?
Yes, it's designed around it. You get the script and source list before production starts, and nothing is animated until you've approved it in writing. If your licensee asks for changes after the first cut, that counts as one of your two included revision rounds.
Do the videos give financial advice?
No. Every script is general information and doesn't take anyone's personal circumstances into account. The videos don't recommend products. You stay responsible for approving and publishing content under your own licence, and the process is built to make that easy.
Can the videos carry our branding?
Yes. Videos use your logo, colours and call to action, and are published under your name. Plain Figures doesn't appear in them.
Do you use AI?
Yes, for parts of research drafting, scripting, narration, animation and captioning. That's how the price and turnaround are possible. A person reads and edits every script, checks every figure against its primary source, and quality-checks every video before delivery. Narration is synthetic unless you ask for a human voice-over. You receive a full AI use disclosure with the service agreement.
Who owns the videos?
You do. Once the invoice is paid, the final video files are yours to publish wherever you like, for as long as you like.
How does payment work?
One-off videos need a 50% deposit to start, with the balance invoiced on delivery on 7-day terms. Retainers are invoiced monthly.
What topics can you cover?
Anything your clients ask about that can be explained as general information: super and the super guarantee, contribution caps, interest rates and repayments, offset and redraw, tax changes, the Budget, inflation, insurance basics, market events and retirement income. If you have a list of the questions clients ask you most, that's the best place to start.
