How your information is handled
Plain Figures is a trading name of Joel Broad, ABN 36 754 085 886. This policy explains what information is collected and how it's used.
What is collected
Business contact details you provide, such as your name, role, email, phone number and practice name, through the enquiry form, email, phone or LinkedIn. Clients also supply brand assets, briefs and scripts for their videos. Business contact details may also come from public registers, such as the ASIC Financial Advisers Register, for direct business outreach.
What is not collected
No information about your clients, no personal financial information, and nothing beyond what's needed to respond to you and produce your videos.
How it is used
To respond to enquiries, deliver services, send invoices and send direct business outreach. You can opt out of outreach at any time by replying, and you'll be removed within two business days.
Storage and security
Information is stored on an encrypted drive with backups, and in the email and cloud services used to deliver work. Accounts use unique passwords and multi-factor authentication. Records are kept for as long as tax law requires (five years) and then deleted.
Third parties
Your information is never sold. Client material may be processed by AI and cloud services to produce videos, as described in the AI use disclosure provided with every service agreement. Client material is not used to train AI models. Enquiry form submissions are processed by the website host, Netlify.
Access and correction
Email joel@plainfigures.com.au to access, correct or delete your information.
Data breaches
If a breach is likely to cause serious harm, affected people will be notified and the incident reported as required.
